Reporting Mechanisms

Hello Telangana provides multiple easy-to-use channels to report Child Safety violations. We encourage all users to report any concerning content without hesitation.

  • In-App Report Button: Every post, comment, listing, and profile has a "Report" option. Tap the three-dot (⋯) menu and select "Report > Child Safety."
  • Email Reporting: Send detailed reports with screenshots to safety@hellotelangana.org
  • Anonymous Reporting: Users may report anonymously — we do not require your identity to act on a child safety report.
  • National Authorities: You may also report directly to the Cyber Crime Portal India at cybercrime.gov.in or call Childline India at 1098.
  • NCMEC CyberTipline: Reports can also be made to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at CyberTipline.
Response Time: All child safety reports submitted via the in-app tool or email are reviewed as quickly as possible, typically within 24 hours. Confirmed CSAM is removed immediately and reported to law enforcement.
05
Enforcement & Action Process

When a potential CSAE violation is detected — either by our automated systems or via a user report — we follow a strict enforcement process:

1
Detection & Intake Content flagged through automated checks or a user report is placed in a restricted queue, invisible to other users immediately.
2
Immediate Content Removal Suspected CSAM is removed from public view within minutes of detection, pending human review.
3
Human Moderation Review A trained member of our Safety Team reviews the flagged content within 24 hours to confirm the violation.
4
Account Suspension The account responsible is permanently suspended. Associated devices and linked accounts are also flagged for investigation.
5
Law Enforcement Reporting Confirmed CSAM is reported to NCMEC CyberTipline and relevant Indian law enforcement including Cyber Crime Cell, Telangana Police.
6
Evidence Preservation All associated data is preserved in compliance with legal requirements and made available to authorities upon lawful request.
06
Law Enforcement Cooperation

Hello Telangana fully cooperates with all lawful requests from Indian and international law enforcement authorities in cases involving child safety.
