If you encounter any content on Hello Telangana that you believe depicts, solicits, or promotes child sexual abuse or exploitation, report it immediately using our in-app report button or contact us directly at safety@hellotelangana.org. All reports are reviewed as quickly as possible and escalated to authorities where required.

We connect users through posts, photos, videos, polls, business listings, job boards, rentals, alerts, and more. With this reach comes an unwavering responsibility to ensure our platform is never misused to harm children in any form.
We are fully committed to preventing, detecting, and eliminating Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and any form of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) from our platform. This is non-negotiable.
- A combination of automated checks and manual moderation to detect and remove harmful content
- All reported content reviewed by trained human moderators as quickly as possible
- Reported to relevant authorities, including NCMEC CyberTipline where applicable
- Permanent banning of accounts confirmed to violate this policy
- Regular policy review and updates to reflect evolving threats and legal standards
- Compliance with Indian IT Act 2000, POCSO Act 2012, and Google Play Developer Policies
The following content and behaviors are strictly prohibited on Hello Telangana across all features — including posts, pages, business listings, offers, alerts, jobs, buy & sell, rentals, and ventures sections.

Hello Telangana provides multiple easy-to-use channels to report Child Safety violations. We encourage all users to report any concerning content without hesitation.
- In-App Report Button: Every post, comment, listing, and profile has a "Report" option. Tap the three-dot (⋯) menu and select "Report > Child Safety."
- Email Reporting: Send detailed reports with screenshots to safety@hellotelangana.org
- Anonymous Reporting: Users may report anonymously — we do not require your identity to act on a child safety report.
- National Authorities: You may also report directly to the Cyber Crime Portal India at cybercrime.gov.in or call Childline India at 1098.
- NCMEC CyberTipline: Reports can also be made to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at CyberTipline.
When a potential CSAE violation is detected — either by our automated systems or via a user report — we follow a strict enforcement process:
Hello Telangana fully cooperates with all lawful requests from Indian and international law enforcement authorities in cases involving child safety.
- We comply with the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 and IT (Intermediary Guidelines & Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
- We comply with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012
- CSAM discovered on our platform is proactively reported — we do not wait for a court order before reporting confirmed CSAM to NCMEC
- User data and content are preserved and disclosed to authorities upon receipt of lawful process (court orders, warrants)
- We maintain a dedicated Law Enforcement Response Team reachable at safety@hellotelangana.org
Every member of the Hello Telangana community has a role to play in keeping our platform safe for children. By using our platform, you agree to:
- Never post, share, forward, or link to any content that sexualizes or harms children
- Never engage in or facilitate grooming, exploitation, or trafficking of minors
- Report suspicious content, accounts, or behaviour involving children immediately using in-app tools
- Educate children in your care about online safety and appropriate use of social media
- Block any user whose behaviour feels threatening, suspicious, or inappropriate — the Block feature is available on every profile
- Contact law enforcement directly if you believe a child is in immediate danger
